I have a background in dietetics and completed my MSc in Human Nutrition and Health at the Ceará State University (UECE), Brazil, and received my PhD in Nutrition and Metabolism from the University of Alberta (UAlberta), Canada. Subsequently, I held post-doctoral teaching and research roles at King’s College London where I developed an interest in the co-creation of research, learning and teaching.

Currently, I am a Lecturer in Public Health Education in the Department of Population Health at King’s College London where I will support the delivery of the post-graduate public health programme. I also sit on the Board of Directors of the NNEdPro Global Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health as an associate director.

My research focuses on implementation research applied to the development and evaluation of interventions to improve nutrition and health in communities.
