The Mediterranean dietary pattern remains one of the most widely recognised models for healthy and sustainable eating. However, its application, adaptation, and implementation beyond Mediterranean regions require renewed focus and coordinated action.

This initiative is being developed to address that need through the creation of a Mediterranean Diet Forum.

The Forum will serve as a multi-stakeholder platform designed to connect research, policy, and practice, while supporting long-term engagement and resourcing.
Strategic purpose
Strengthen international collaboration on Mediterranean dietary patterns.
Explore cultural and regional adaptation in diverse populations.
Provide a platform for long-term engagement and funding partnerships.
