About the Event
Food and nutrition sciences, along with preventative medicine, are key to decreasing the prevalence of malnutrition and non-communicable diseases (NCDs). With the pressing need for strategies based on evidence and international cooperation, the NNEdPro Global Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health, and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia propose a joint workshop to encourage productive discussions, share knowledge and establish research partnerships.
The NNEdPro Global Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health seeks to advance and implement food and nutrition knowledge for health and society. It aims to improve nutrition-related health outcomes by training professionals, strengthening research, implementing solutions and addressing inequalities, in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and the Decade of Action on Nutrition 2016-2025.
