About
I attended the faculty of Health Sciences University of Buea where I obtained an MD degree in Medicine in 2020. My MD thesis focused on cardiovascular risk factors among gravid Cameroonian women. In September 2022 I graduated with a Masters in Public Health with a distinction from The University of Wolverhampton, UK. My academics has equipped me with in-depth knowledge of clinical medicine and public health principles, and extensive research and data analysis skills.
I joined the Covid-19 Taskforce in 2021, where I carried out monthly information scans for COVID-19 related public health policy and statistics across all our regional networks. In May 2022, I joined NEPHELP as the project coordination lead whose aim is focussing on increasing the quality of nutrition education for healthcare professionals. We are currently trailing an online educational platform for this, whilst writing up the learning points from our previous cycle. In addition to these I am an associate academic officer and a member of the Projects, Operations & Strategy Team for NNEDPRO.
