Professor Helen Truby is a nutrition scientist and dietitian whose research is focused around understanding nutrition solutions in the context of prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases. She is committed to the rapid dissemination of research findings into practice settings and enabling practitioners to access current evidence based nutrition, so that they can impart these to their clients.
She is the lead educator for the 'Food As Medicine' MOOC and suite of health professional short courses, delivered on-line to international audiences. Developing 'Food as Medicine' contributes to her passion of being able to communicate nutrition science effectively and globally.
