Tutor Biographies: Dr Minha Rajput-RayDr Minha Rajput-Ray is a Walport NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow (ACF) in Rheumatology and General Medicine. She developed an interest in clinical nutrition and the management of osteoporosis - especially in high risk groups and patients from ethnic minority backgrounds during her Ostepathic Medicine training in London. After gaining a First Class Honours degree, Minha carried on to read Medicine at the University of Dundee where she researched general trends in supplement intake as part of a Special Study Module (SSM) in Nutrition, organised a GP audit on the interactions of warfarin with cranberry juice. She has also taught Clinical Nutrition to Medical Students, co-supervised an Intercalated BSc project on Nutrition and Raynaud's Disease and participated in workshops teaching Foundation Doctors and Allied Health Professionals on the importance of Nutrition in Vascular and Inflammatory conditions. Minha is keen to promote the aspirations of NNedPro and is positive that all attendees upon completion of the course will have a excellent tool at hand to make a difference to the nutritional health of their patients across various specialties.
